Project Description
Client: Crosstown Fiber
Location: Chicago, IL
Completion Date: On-Going
John Burns Construction Company has been a key partner to Crosstown Fiber since the inception of their CPS fiber connectivity program. Our collaboration began with the installation of underground segments connecting Chicago Public Schools (CPS) facilities to Crosstown’s growing fiber network, including right-of-way (ROW) tie-ins and critical underground routing across city streets and neighborhoods.
As the partnership has expanded, John Burns has taken on larger, more complex scopes—most notably the construction of high-capacity underground fiber segments that connect major data centers across the Chicagoland area. These projects involve navigating congested urban corridors and suburban infrastructure to deliver secure, high-performance data connectivity.
