John Burns Construction Company of Texas was contracted to install 6E6 electrical duct-bank package for a new housing development. The projects location was in front of an active fire station and also required boring under an existing creek.
The Challenges
- Installed 500 linear feet of 6E6 duct-bank package with 380 linear feet of the duct-bank bored under an existing creek.
- Installed a double stack 4-way electrical manhole 25 feet deep.
- Communicated directly with the Plano Fire department through the duration this project. The fire department remained active and the drive could not be blocked or shut down during construction.
